Abstract
This review emphasises cadmium toxicity on plants with regards to ecol ogical, physiological and biochemical aspects. Cadmium toxicity in pla nts and problems concerning tolerance and ecological performance are d iscussed briefly. Efforts have been made to compare the relative sensi tivity of various plant groups including micro-and macro-flora.
