In tills paper we analyze the periodic solutions of the differential-d
ifference equation describing a linear transmission line with nonlinea
r termination. When the period is multiple of the delay the periodic s
olutions of the differential-difference equation solve a finite set of
ordinary differential equations in cyclic form. Tile Hopf-bifurcation
in such a set is studied. and some properties of the bifurcating peri
odic solutions are pointed out.
