The relativistic quark model of nucleon and the quark-exchange formali
sm is used to calculate the spin structure functions (SSF) of He-3, H-
3, neutrons and protons. We consider the quarks to be exchanged at mos
t between two nucleons. The up and down quarks treated separately and
a well behaved polarized distribution is found by considering energy-m
omentum conservation properly. The SSF of He-3 and H-3 and convolution
approximation are used to find the SSF of protons and neutrons and th
e validity of the Bjorken sum rule was tested. Finally it is shown tha
t the result of our calculation agrees qualitatively well with the ava
ilable experimental data, i.e., E142, E143, SMC, and recent E154, expe
riments.
