Hu. Khan et al., ROLE OF COMPOSITION ON THE VISCOSITY AND SHEAR-STRESS TEMPERATURE BEHAVIOR OF SOME LUBE OIL BASE STOCKS, Petroleum science and technology, 16(1-2), 1998, pp. 145-166
Lubricating oil base stocks differ greatly in their chemical compositi
on and consequently in their physical properties and applications. Inf
luence of waxes and various hydrocarbon type constituents viz saturate
s and aromatic components on the viscosity and shear stress as a funct
ion of temperature in different lube oil base stocks has been studied
in the present paper.
