Sl. Yan et Cz. Yang, EFFECT OF THE TRANSVERSE FIELD ON THE BOND-DILUTED MIXED ISING SPIN SYSTEM WITH SINGLE-ION-ANISOTROPY, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 57(6), 1998, pp. 3512-3517
The effect of the transverse field on the bond-diluted mixed spin-1/2
and spin-1/2 Ising system with single-ion anisotropy are investigated
within the framework of the effective-field theory with correlations.
Particular emphasis is given to the honeycomb lattice for which phase
diagrams and magnetization curves are obtained. The interactions J(ij)
are assumed to be independent random variables with distribution P(J(
ij))=p delta(J(ij)-J)+(1-p)delta(J(ij)). We observe that the reentrant
transition may occur in the present system if the single-ion anisotro
py parameter is not large and if the transverse field is small. The in
fluence of the transverse field on the behaviors of the reentrant tran
sition and magnetic properties are discussed. On the other hand, there
is in the system an interesting possibility of the existence of magne
tic ordering. We study in detail the role of the transverse field on t
he single-ion anisotropy induced magnetic ordering and magnetization c
urves in this paper.
