We present a Ginzburg-Landau model that explains some recently observe
d features in the upper critical field of the organic superconductor (
TMTSF)(2)PF6. This model takes into account the finite size of the sup
erconducting chains and their Josephson coupling along the two transve
rse directions. The upper critical field is found to be strongly sensi
tive to sample alignment in the magnetic field.
