In this article, some issues, concerns, and research regarding the int
erviewing of young child witnesses are reviewed. The article focuses o
n research on suggestibility and the influence of various interviewing
techniques on the reliability and credibility of young children's rep
orts. Implications of this research for future research and for policy
are discussed.
