Abstract
The discontinuous shifts of Raman lines with the concentration between 500 and 2600 (-1) in solutions of HNO3-H2O and KNO3-HNO3 show the for mation of the associates cm H2O . HNO3 and (HNO3)2 . NO3-. The study o f the 2000-3600 cm(-1) range enhances the complexity of the OH' spectr a with the occurrence of Evans windows, owing to the formation of hydr ogen bonds in the two associates.
