Abstract
A correct determination of metal ion complex stabilities from emf meas urements is only possible after correction for secondary effects on th e activity of the measuring electrolyte. Here attention is given to ch anges in ionic strength by complex formation and compositional changes caused by the cationic and anionic substitutions.
