Abstract
This article includes a description of the method of dermabrasion and a discussion of the results obtained in various types of dermatologic conditions. Indications for surgery, appropriate patient selection, ad junctive surgical procedures, potential complications, comparative mod alities, and some recent controversies also are addressed.
