Four coumarins, three dihydrochalcones, (-)-epi-gallocatechin and two
flavonol rhamnosides have been isolated from the leaves and branches o
f Esembeckia grandiflora subsp. grandiflora (Rutaceae) and their struc
tures elucidated. The coumarin B, 2, and dihydrochalcones F1, F2 and F
3 (4, 5 and 6, respectively) are novel compounds. Laevorotatory heracl
enol, 3, is reported for the first time.
