Abstract
A method for superhigh compression of a gas bubble in a liquid due to forced non-linear, non-periodic resonance oscillations with moderate t o small amplitudes of forcing pressure is proposed and analyzed. The k ey feature of the method is the coordination of the liquid pressure ch ange with the change of bubble volume. The corresponding regime of for ced oscillations is called the ''basketball dribbling regime''. Analyt ical solutions describing the process are obtained.
