Ll. Taroni et al., TIME-DEPENDENT MODELING OF IMPURITY TRANSPORT IN THE JET CORE AND DIVERTOR PLASMA, Contributions to Plasma Physics, 38(1-2), 1998, pp. 242-247
The analysis of the contamination of the plasma by a puffed recycling
impurity such as neon, is intrinsically time-dependent and requires si
multaneous time-dependent modelling of both the core region and the SO
L and divertor region, To this end, a new code, combining core and edg
e codes, has been developed: its main features will be described and i
ts application to the analysis of an L-mode discharge in which neon wa
s puffed will be shown.
