Abstract
This note describes a semianalytical solution to a diffusion-depositio n-resuspension model. Calculations of the fate of a point contaminant show that the model performs well in representing the individual effec ts of advection, deposition. and resuspension. Within uncertainties in herent to the model parameters. this model solution can be used for as sessing the environmental impact of an initially localized source sf c ontamination.
