Abstract
The spinning conic singularities necessary to equilibrate two collinea r Ken-NUT black holes are studied in some detail. We find that the gen eric case is represented by two black holes kept apart by infinitely l ong spinning strings. Particular cases can also be equilibrated with s pinning rods.
