The propagation of wave in a piezoelectric plate is analyzed. A plate
made of piezoelectric material with hexagonal symmetry (6mm) polarized
with respect to z-axis is considered. The mechanical displacements an
d electric potential expressions for SH waves are analytically obtaine
d. The symmetric and antisymmetric modes are studied in this case. A p
articular case is analyzed and the general solutions and group velocit
ies are calculated.
