Abstract
A new series of azo dyes derived from N-(4'-aminofenilen)-2,4,6-trimet ilpiridinium tetrafluoborate were prepared and characterized by elemen tal and spectroscopic analyses. For the cationic dyes obtained m-dieth ylaminophenol, 1-(2'-benzthyazolil)-3-methyl-pyrazolyn-5-one, 1-phenyl -3-methyl-pyrazolyn-5-one were used as couplantes. The new azo-dyes sy nthetized were investigated by elemental analyses, melting points and IR, UV-VIS, NMR spectroscopic methods.
