Abstract
The paper points out a set of benefits derived from the use of an elec tronic computing system for flow measurement, using orifice plates. A comparative study between the new opportunities and the traditional me thods, used in practice, is performed. By the means of sensitivity inv estigations of the flow function some useful conclusions for sizing an d designing orifice plates are presented.
