Abstract
The formation of shearing speckIe-interferograms in fringes of infinit e width in the case of double-exposure recording of a lensless Fourier specklegram is considered in the Fresnel approximation. It is shown t hat the sensitivity of the speckle-interferometer to axial wave aberra tions is increased by a factor of 2 for a fixed value of the lateral s hift.
