NUCLEAR-POWER IN GLOBAL ENERGY PERSPECTIVES OF THE 21ST-CENTURY

This report draws upon various World Energy Council (WEC) publications , including in particular the joint WEC/IIASA (International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis) study Global energy perspectives to 205 0 and beyond (1995). In keeping with the earlier WEC Commission Report Energy for tomorrow's world (1993) the WEC is in the process of botto m-up evaluation of the Global energy perspectives study. This is being conducted through Regional Groups covering the eleven regions into wh ich we divide the world. However we do nor anticipate changing some pr eliminary assumptions.
