Abstract
Ten mixed ligand complexes of the general molecular formula M(ADA)(B) . (H2O)(n) have been prepared, M=Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II); ADA the dival ent anion of N(2-acetamido) imino diacetic acid; B=imidazole. The stru cture of these complexes has been investigated by several techniques, viz.: microchemical analysis, molar conductance and magnetic susceptib ility measurements, infrared and electronic absorption spectra as well as thermogravimetric analysis. Formation constant values of the diffe rent ternary complexes have been determined pH-metrically at t = 30 +/ - 0.1 degrees C and ionic strength, I = 0.1 mol dm(-3) (KNO3).
