Abstract
An efficient method is developed for the rapid and accurate calculatio n of the potential Green's function in the rectangular cavity. The pro posed method is based on the Ewald sum technique and converts the slow ly convergent cavity Green's function into the sum of two exponentiall y convergent series, The transformed series achieves fast convergence with only a small number of terms in the calculation.
