S. Oszwaldowski et M. Jarosz, HETEROCYCLIC AZO REAGENTS AS DERIVATIZING AGENTS IN SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC AND REVERSED-PHASE HIGH-PERFORMANCE LIQUID-CHROMATOGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF METAL-IONS, Chemia Analityczna, 42(6), 1997, pp. 739-756
The most popular heterocyclic azo chromogenic reagents and their spect
rophotometric applications are reviewed. RP-HPLC separation and determ
ination methods based on colored systems of metal ions with pyridylazo
and thiazolylazo derivatives are summarized. The examples of ion-pair
chromatographic and micellar liquid chromatographic procedures are me
ntioned. Applications of the high performance liquid chromatographic m
ethods in analysis of natural and artificial materials are presented.
