Abstract
The usefulness of overpressured layer chromatography (OPLC) to separat ion of the multicomponent samples is demonstrated. The instruments use d, their properties and applications are described. The advantages of OPLC are confirmed by comparison with TLC and HPLC. Some problems with presented technique are also indicated. The possibility of solving an alytical problems by OPLC, e.g. in pharmacy, medicine and industry are discussed. Special attention is paid to analysis of biologically acti ve compounds isolated from plant extracts.
