Abstract
The 0-0 band of the a(3) Pi-X-1 Sigma(+) transition of AlCl at 4073.6 Angstrom has been photographed at high resolution and an unambiguous a nalysis of its rotational structure is presented. Precise values of th e rotational constants of the a(3) Pi state have been determined. (C) 1998 Academic Press.
