Abstract
Communication: Amorphous molecular materials that form stable glasses with high transition temperatures have many applications, including ho le-transport materials in light-emitting devices. The synthesis of som e novel derivatives of 1,3,5-tris(diarylamino)benzenes, TDABs, with di fferent aryl substituents is reported. The absorption, fluorescence, e lectrochemical behavior, and thermal properties of these compounds are described and their suitability as hole-transport and emitting materi als in light-emitting devices demonstrated.
