DENDRITIC MACROMOLECULES AT INTERFACES

Research News: The structural state of dendritic macromolecules at air -water and air-solid interfaces is discussed. The chemical architectur es of dendritic molecules and the results of molecular modeling are br iefly outlined before the various dendritic monolayers and multilayers are reviewed. The Figure shows a scheme of a multilayer self-assemble d film obtained by layer-by-layer deposition of dendrimers and low mol ar mass ions.
