Abstract
A simple experimental setup used previously to investigate the power o utput and the efficiency of PZT ferroelectric materials to convert ene rgy from thermal to electrical, has been used to investigate their dep endence on sample thickness and frequency. In addition to the usual th ermal and electrical reIaxation times another (residual) relaxation ti me is needed in order to describe the performance of Zr-rich PZT under thermal cycling.
