Abstract
Raman light scattering in two kinds of PbZrO3 single crystals have bee n investigated. Special attention was paid to the paraelectric phase i n which the first order defect-induced Raman spectra are present up to the very high temperature. In sample with intermediate phase of ferro electric behaviour, an additional Raman line at similar to 144 cm(-1) was found to appear in temperature range of about 50 K above T-c and c onnected with existence of static clusters of the polar character.
