Abstract
The domain switching in ferroelectric polycrystalline materials under external electric field is simulated by using Q-state Potts model. A M onte-Carlo approach of the domain switching is proposed. In a prelinmi nary simulation we show both nucleation and growth of the new domains. The characteristic domain reversal kinetics is revealed.
