Abstract
For simulation of large systems using Parallel Discrete Event Simulati on, we have to cope with the problems of describing models, partitioni ng and distribution into logical processes, and implementation on mult iple processors. In this paper, we propose an approach to aid the mode lling process for Parallel Discrete Event Simulation and present a pro gram generator which uses the modelling approach. For ease of use, the approach is based on some current methods for sequential discrete eve nt simulation. An example is used to describe and illustrate the appro ach and the features of the generator.
