The F-RL-F-RH pyroelectric phase transition behavior of Zr rich Nb dop
ed PZT multi-composition ferroelectric ceramics with parallel configur
ation (i.e., changing composition across the surface of the multi-comp
osition sample) has been investigated. Adjusting the chemical composit
ion and the mass of each component in the multi-composition ceramics,
continuity of the multiple F-RL-F-RH phase transition behavior in a gi
ven temperature window (with approximately constant pyroelectric curre
nt) can be attained. In this paper different combination configuration
s for five compositions (PZT 97/3 + 0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.15, 1.3 wt% Nb2O5
) have been studied.
