Ferroelectric lead titanate crystals of dimension 2x1.2x0.3 cm(3) were
grown using self flux method. Crystal growth is found to occur by two
dimensional layer growth mechanism. X-ray studies confirmed the tetra
gonality at room temperature. Ferroelectric domains were observed by o
ptical and atomic force microscopes. Transition temperature determined
using Differential Scanning Calorimetry.
