The results of an experimental study and theoretical analysis of pyror
esponse of ferroelectric Sn2P2S6 films On aluminum substrate are prese
nted for the case of rectangular heat flux modulation. It is shown tha
t for films on metal substrate the observed pyroresponse is of practic
ally rectangular shape. The authors propose a method for the pyrocoeff
icient calculation in films based on that used in the quasistatic case
(for constant heating rate of the ferroelectric).
