Js. Kim et al., DIELECTRIC AND IMPEDANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF K3LI2NB5O15 CRYSTAL AND CERAMICS, Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 32, 1998, pp. 316-318
The dielectric and impedance characteristics of potassium lithium niob
ate crystal, K(3)Li(2)Nb5O(15) (KLN), have been investigated over the
frequency range of 100 Hz to 1 MHz in the temperature region from room
temperature to 600 degrees C. The dielectric constant shows a marked
anomaly at the transition temperature of 430 degrees C and slightly di
ffuse phase transition. Ac complex impedance is explained by a Cole-Co
le semi-circle expression at below and above the phase transition temp
erature. But near the phase transition temperature, skewed semi-circle
has been found. The dielectric properties and electrical conduction n
ear the transition temperature are discussed with dielectric constant,
conductivity and complex impedance.
