Abstract
The appropriate sequence of terms expresses the historical dominants o f evaluation of than as personality. The virtues (almost forgotten in psychology) are defined as moral principles internalised by personalit y which control (regulate) the relation of an individual to self, to o thers, to spiritual values, and to transcendence in a great diapason; simply, they are the proved values of the development of humanism acce pted by an individual. There is no need to explain to psychologists wh at the factor characteristics are; in the paper, it is illustrated by means of older and latter (1997) personality theory of R. B. Cattell, as well as the contemporary (nineties) conceptions of ''Big Five''. Sy stem regulators are comprehended by the author not only as a certain i ntegration of virtues and factor characteristics, though even the robu st ones. Even those interfunctional potentials which are desirable for the survival of mankind in global problems on the edge of millenium s hould be worked in and studied here. Not only the old and new wisdom, but even the actual and perspective responsibility, modesty, pro-socia lity etc. belong absolutely to them.
