Abstract
We report the sequence and expression of a Drosophila cDNA that shows similarity to a portion of the tre oncogene. The deduced encoded prote in, DRN-TRE, contains residues that are highly conserved across a wide phylogenetic spectrum. The temporal and spatial transcription pattern of DRN-TRE suggest that it functions in a broad range of tissues. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
