Abstract
The influence of the conditions of thermal treatment on the formation of the texture of vanadium-titanium oxide catalysts is studied in a wi de range of the compositions. V2O5 additives are shown to stabilize th e surface area of TiO2 and preserve the microporous structure upon the rmal treatment due to incorporation of vanadium oxide microcrystallite s in the structure of aggregates comprising dispersed anatase particle s. Transformation of the texture of binary catalysts predominantly occ urs via the mechanism of surface diffusion.
