Ga. Zenkovets et al., INFLUENCE OF THE CONDITIONS OF THERMAL-TREATMENT ON THE FORMATION OF THE POROUS STRUCTURE OF VANADIUM-TITANIUM OXIDE CATALYSTS, Kinetics and catalysis, 39(1), 1998, pp. 114-119
The influence of the conditions of thermal treatment on the formation
of the texture of vanadium-titanium oxide catalysts is studied in a wi
de range of the compositions. V2O5 additives are shown to stabilize th
e surface area of TiO2 and preserve the microporous structure upon the
rmal treatment due to incorporation of vanadium oxide microcrystallite
s in the structure of aggregates comprising dispersed anatase particle
s. Transformation of the texture of binary catalysts predominantly occ
urs via the mechanism of surface diffusion.
