Abstract
Vortex phase diagram and peak effect have been investigated by the mag netization measurements for various CeRu2 samples with different quali ty. The peak effect survives even in the extremely qualified samples a nd in the magnetic held H parallel to[1 1 1]. Field dependence of the anomalous magnetization reveals that the strong-pinning region termina tes at H = 24 kOe and T* = 4.0 K, independent of the quality of sampl e. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
