Abstract
We provide experimental proof that atomically thin films of ferromagne tic Fe grown by molecular beam epitaxy on top of a non-magnetic W(110) -substrate obey the scaling hypothesis and belong to the 2D-Ising univ ersality class. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
