Abstract
Nonmagnetic impurity effects on a two-leg quantum spin ladder with a l arge spin gap of about 400 K were investigated. Surprisingly, only a f ew % of impurity was found to drive the host gapless and antiferromagn etically ordered at a composition-dependent temperature below 10 K. (C ) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
