High-field Fe-57 Mossbauer and DC-magnetization measurements are repor
ted for YFe9Mo3. Mo occupies preferentially the 8i-sites and to a smal
l extent 8f. From the hyperfine field arrangement a noncollinear magne
tic order of Fe is obtained in agreement with the results of band-stru
cture calculations, explaining the observed low saturation in high ext
