The temperature dependence of magnetisation in nanocrystalline Fe obta
ined by ball milling has been studied. This analysis has been coupled
to a Mossbauer spectroscopy investigation at room temperature. It has
been found that the magnetic behaviour is strongly affected by the str
ucture and volume fraction of the interfacial region between the cryst
allites (grain boundaries). (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights
