Abstract
We have investigated the magnetoresistance ((MR) behavior on annealing Cu-Co films sputter deposited on cooled substrates. The MR behavior o n annealing shows a clear contrast between the Co concentrations (a) l ower and higher than the magnetic percolation threshold (x(c) approxim ate to 25 at%). For x > x(c), anisotropic MR as seen in simple ferroma gnets changes into giant MR on annealing. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B. V. All rights reserved.
