Abstract
For the Van Vleck metals, we study the effect of Coulomb interaction o n the superconductivity mediated by the virtual excitation of the crys tal-field singlet ground state. It is shown that the screened Coulomb interaction makes a small decrease of T-c but leaves T-c finite. (C) 1 998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
