Abstract
Neutron diffraction studies of magnetic order in epitaxial magnetic se miconductor superlattices [(ZnTe) \ (MnTe)] have revealed long-range c oupling between antiferromagnetic layers of MnTe interleaved with thin (4-6 atomic planes) layers of ZnTe. Both in-phase and anti-phase coup lings have been observed with a gradual transfer (in samples with thin ner ZnTe layers) between the two forms of ordering as temperature is i ncreased.
