Abstract
The magnetic properties of the C14 Laves phase pseudobinary Ti(Fe1-xAl x)(2) system have been investigated using magnetisation and NMR measur ements. From these it has been found that antiferromagnetism in TiFe2 is suppressed by the Al substitution for x < 0.1, while ferromagnetism appears for 0.1 < x < 0.5. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
