Abstract
Spectral singularities are studied of the optical radiation of lead in states in the vicinity of the critical point of liquid-vapor transiti on, generated upon isentropic expansion into helium of samples shock-c ompressed to pressures of 223 and 265 GPa. A model is proposed of the boundary radiating layer formed as a result of development of instabil ity of the lead-helium interface.
