Vi. Vasilev et al., THE USE OF A ONE-PARAMETER DIFFERENTIAL MODEL OF TURBULENCE IN NUMERICAL-CALCULATIONS WITH THE AID OF NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS, High temperature, 36(1), 1998, pp. 61-69
Two algorithms are developed for numerical integration of averaged Nav
ier-Stokes equations describing the flow of incompressible liquid and
perfect gas. Turbulent stresses are determined with the aid of a one-p
arameter differential model of turbulence. Results are given of the ca
lculation of separated flows in channels. The flows of incompressible
liquid in flat and axisymmetric channels with sudden expansion and in
a flat blade channel are treated, as well as a flow of perfect gas in
a two-dimensional blade cascade. The results of calculations by the on
e-parameter model of turbulence are compared with the available experi
mental data and results of known calculations using other models.
