Abstract
The results are given of experimental investigations of basic regulari ties of hyperthermal destruction of typical structural epoxy glass on interaction with gas flows under high pressures (up to 15 MPa). A phys ical model of the process under study is formulated. The modes of ther mochemical and thermomechanical destruction, melting, flow of film, an d shear deformations (erosion) of a thin surface layer of epoxy glass heated to high temperatures are identified.
